This is Mitla, a small town about half an hour bus ride from Oaxaca. We saw a great deal of people who seemed to be of Zapotec descent. We heard some sort of Indian dialect spoken in this area. Amy was really amazed by how some women carry heavy items on their heads with seemingly no effort. This style of dress, with the apron covering a dress is also very typical Indian attire.
